Mary Betley
Mary Betley is an economist and chartered public accountant with more than twenty years’ consultancy experience in Africa, Asia/Pacific, Central Asia, the Former Soviet Union, the Balkans, and Latin America. She has wide-ranging consulting experience, covering assisting Governments with public financial management (PFM) reforms, undertaking Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) assessments and diagnostic assessments, including Public Expenditure Reviews (PERs), and research studies. She has worked for a variety of bilateral and multilateral institutions, including the World Bank, the IMF, DFID and SIDA, including as team leader.
